People of God, 2006 is a year of great release and manifestation. The Lord spoke to us coming into 2006, and declared that this would be a year of "divine fulfillment!" Because this is a year to reap a bountiful harvest, it is imperative that we have great focus in this year. This is a time when we have to really make our walk with Christ a very personal one.
We must:
Ensure that we are taking full responsibility for our personal development with God. We must really press into God with great passion. This is a season when it has to be very personal between you and God. This is a time when we must allow God access to every part of us. There can be no area that is off-limits to God!
There can be no more hiding behind pain, disappointment, regret, or unresolved issues. Last year, God instructed us to wake up and “Be Alive.” This meant that we could no longer slumber through life, but that we had to be alert and actively engaged on a daily basis.
This is a year for total intimacy! Intimacy on a level that you have never experienced before. The Holy Spirit has declared that God is waiting to reveal himself in new ways. He wants to reveal greater insight into the mysteries and the secrets in the deep and intimate knowledge of Himself, that the Kingdom will be established in greater manifestation in the earth.
Therefore, we are “Making It Personal” with:
God
Pursuing God like you never have before.
Taking responsibility for your continued growth and development in God.
You have to become so connected to God that you depend on Him for your next breath of air.
Be alive and actively engaged in your communion with the Holy Spirit.
With Yourself
Laying aside every weight and sin that so easily besets you. It is time to be completely delivered from every enslaving yoke.
Begin making the necessary judgment calls on your own life. This means you need to stop and evaluate yourself, and make any mid-course corrections, so that you will be free from any and all hindrances to your destiny.
The Enemy
You cannot afford to be ignorant concerning Satan's devices. (2 Corinthians 2:11)
His job is to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10)
Fight back and use your keys of binding and loosening. (Matthew 18:18)
You must become the aggressor, and go after what you know is yours! Recover everything you know the enemy is trying to steal from you.
Actively, Aggressively
Pursuing……...
Let us
take a closer look at what the Holy
Spirit is prophetically speaking to
us in this season.
The
word
Active
means:
To be
constantly engaged in action
In a
state of action
In
actual existence (not something you
think about)
Progress or motion
Involving physical action or effort
Having
the power of quick motion
Causing change
Capable of exerting influence
To be
effective and profitable
Again,
I see why God insisted that we wake
up on last year. There is no way
that we can become active, if we are
not fully awake!
The
word
Aggressive means:
Attack
Full
of enterprise and initiative
Bold,
active
This
is not the season to be a coward.
Pray and ask God for courage to move
forward. Now is the time, this is
the season. Whatever you are going
to do, do it now! Move while there
is grace and favor being released
for you this year.
The
word
Pursue means:
To
follow in order
Strive
to gain
Seek
to attain or accomplish a purpose
To
continue to annoy, afflict or
trouble (the enemy!)
To
follow in pursuit (God)
“My soul
followeth hard after thee: thy right
hand upholdeth me.”
In the
above passage of scripture, notice
the psalmist David said my soul
followeth “hard” after thee. The
word hard in the original languages
(Strongs 1692) [dabaq/daw bak]means
cleave, follow hard, stick, keep
fast together, abide, close, joined
to, cling, stick, stay close,
cleave, keep close, stick to, stick
with, follow closely, join to,
overtake, catch.
Saints
of God, in 2006 this must be our
spiritual posture. We must follow
hard after God. We are pursuing him
like never before. We must cleave to
God, follow his every instruction,
cling to Him, long for him, be
joined to Him in a deeper way.
We
must become aggressive in our
pursuit of God, meaning that we must
begin to be the one who initiates
the love affair. We must go after
God. We must make more and more time
to spend in uninterrupted fellowship
with Him.
Then
we must also be aggressive where the
enemy is concerned, and stop being
reactive. Don’t wait to respond to
an attack, you go on the attack with
the Word of God in your mouth; which
is a powerful weapon of warfare, a
two-edged sword.
You
must continue to pursue the enemy,
until you overtake and overthrow
everything that is contrary to the
will of God for your life.
This
year people of God, let us really
“Make it Personal” with God, with
yourself, and with the enemy.
